About Us

We’re two friends who love exploring the great outdoors, obsessing over true crime, and diving deep into unsolved mysteries. Inspired by the baffling missing persons cases right in our own backyard, we created Mishaps and Mysteries. Our podcast focuses on the local stories of people who have vanished in the beautiful but unforgiving backcountry of British Columbia. Some miraculously survived, some were tragically found deceased, and others remain completely lost to the wild - leaving us with far more questions than answers.
